As long as AF is not a big priority for you than the 6D is still a great camera, mine has served me well and I've gotten away with some fucking stupidly lit shots due to the iso performance.

I used mine for semi professional stuff though so I can't help justifying it if you're just going to use it recreationally

I regret the battery grip for the 6D honestly. I rarely use it and it adds so much mass. I bought it originally because I just assumed I would need some extra grip because I have big hands but I regularly shoot PJ stuff so the smaller body size without the grip is paying off more. I might replace the 1D for a 7D when I can afford it.

My tele zoom is 23 this year and still working great though which is awesome
