No matter if it's set to auto, if I manually set the shutter speed or if it's set to bulb the shutter will always fire in bulb.
I reckon something insides just needs to be cleaned to get it working again which I could of easily done but I thought it would be a good idea to send it out to someone who knows what they're doing.
Even so the repair cost + the amount I paid for the camera will still be cheaper than what they're going for on eBay, plus mine will be fully CLA'd.
