NASA is one of the weirdest organizations to work with. Security gave me a pass that allowed me in all but one building, without escort. On the other hand, my boss is Swiss, and had to have a handler with him at all times, to the point where I couldn't drive him on or off property without a NASA PAO in the car with us. Super friendly and accommodating people.
