For shootings size doesnt matter too much for me but for everyday and traveling it does.
I dont want to shill for sony, I havent even shot with it yet but their cameras are damn small in comparison. Fuji doesnt hook me in the slightest and even its aps-c model here is just as large as the a7ii. For comparison large zoom lenses of ~similar focal lenghtes. Yes, sony lenses are big and heavy but the body remains small and can be paired with small lenses as well.
small+large=large; small+small=small
large+large=large; large+small=large.
