>Why cant they update the GX8/GX9Because large bodies dissipate heat better and can house more powerful IBIS units, larger batteries, more ports, and additional circuitry needed for intensive processing of a continuous sensor readout so they can offer flagship FF video at half the price, plus the cost you pay by having 4x more noise at every ISO and the sharpest lenses ever looking a bit soft. Not like video consoomers would notice, right? Video is a low art for low people.
>WHYPoorfag video tards are the only people with any reason to use this besides a minority of amateur wildlife photographers (they are much fewer in number than poor people and video tards). Full frame has gotten so small. A sony a7c series camera with a f2.5/f2.8 G lens is practically the same size as the gx8 with that shitty ass 17mm thats way slower to shoot, focus, way softer, etc. Pxlmag makes the difference look larger because a lot of their E mount lenses are scaled wrong.
I think most of the original audience for micro four thirds has 100% migrated to fuji and the smaller sony FF bodies. Hence the aggressive talentless notphotogs left behind.
Micro four thirds is still a solid rec for new and super casual people who shit their pants when they hear "$1250 camera". It's not like an E-M1 II or III is worse than their phone, and it's still smaller and more usable than a FF DSLR if someone doesn't mind noisy and soft.
But if you take your hobby seriously, the big 3 of full frame plus fuji APS-C are looking more and more like the only sensible options.
