>>3438562It’s happened in the past few months and is a great case study to prove just how autistic the used camera market is. In the summer when I was obsessed with point n shoots, I would scout eBay for deals on MJUs or L35AFs and those nishika piece of shits would be up for $10. Over time and after acquiring a few sleeper point n shoots, my hunger was satisfied. Then all the sudden around January, I started seeing pics taken with this piece of shit 3D camera pop up on Instagram and cuckit. Just the other week I decided to see if it was worth it to pick one up just for the meme and I felt my fuckin cortical levels physically rise when I saw them for fucking $200 starting. I love film cameras but the used film camera market is autistic and I’ve never seen a camera less deserving of its hyped up price tag than the Nishika.
Word of advice to anyone. Don’t fall for meme point and shoots. They all take about the same shot and the luxury models (cough cough Contax/Fuji) are nothing to write home about. The Canon SureShot Max will literally take the same pictures as a T4 and it won’t miss focus as often.
Save ur money. Hoard film. Buy a nice scanner.
