There's a crisis of confidence with the GR for me, no cropping, super expensive, SO FRAGILE despite obsessive compulsive precautions, it's very much on trial and in danger of being replaced by superior auto mode and zoom of the RX100.
There's no point being pocketable if you're covered in dust when you're put in a pocket.
Look at the guy with the smash screen, he dropped it knee to ground like what the hell man, it's 2023 no gorilla grass for $1000 cameras?
Anyway, I go overseas in a couple of weeks and if the Ricoh fucks up, if it's constantly covered in dust it'll simply be ditched as my travel cam. Getting tired of trying for something that deliver not much in return
In addition to RX1000 & MK 2 vs Ricoh these cameras, the aforementioned as HEAPS quicker. YOU MISS MOMENTS ON A RICOH being careful with it and FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING around with settings unless you're in a saved program mode, you HAVE TO FUCKING FUCK with settings and not point and shoot because the P mode....sucks donkey dick as I affirmed as someone who has used two other similar cameras of different brands.
anyway, RICOH is sold if it puts one step wrong this trip. IF IT RUINS ONE DAY by having dust or one shot, it's Sony.
