Kind of an old one. I quite liked it back in the day but looking at it now the plant to the right is in the way and the buildings in the background are kind of dull. I still like the guy's pose and the shimmering lake that emphasizes how shaded he is though. Kinda wish that fence wasn't there.

They also don't really stand out from the background in terms of value, the only bit of value contrast is the tree they're standing on which probably isn't the main focus of the shot. Bionicles are cool though so definitely keep trying.
I have no idea how to shoot well with a phone camera so no specific tips to give there
