I am confused about Adobe RGB vs sRGB... i made some test shots with both colour setting in camera. No matter if i set my workflow in PS as Adobe RGB or sRGB colour space, if i export the jpg as Adobe or sRGB... nothing changes in the final result. The only difference seems to be how Windows Photo Viewer auto corrects the raw files when i open them, and rgb histogram also changes in Camera Raw when i toggle the spaces, but not the preview. Importing into PS and changing workflow space also doesn't do anything... why do people always say to convert the image to sRGB for web use if it looks the same? BTW i do have a monitor with AdobeRGB mode and it supposedly covers 99% of AdobeRGB space, and images of course look more saturated in that mode. So is that it, just more saturated mode without clipping the colour channels? And so working in sRGB and just turning on AdobeRGB mode on the monitor for viewing is fine? Or am i missing something...
