In dense rain this "drops frozen in motion" can look cool, especially with a flash, but here it doesnt work, the rest of the lighting doesnt fit.
Generally, rain with a slower shutterspeed looks better. It looks denser in general and is more easily identifyable as rain. Also looks smoother and comfier
