I spent a few days reflecting on my favourite shots taken this year. Looking back through what I've posted I was a little disappointed in the "quality" of the individual shots as I mostly focused on curating and posting "sets" of images from a particular day of shooting, I guess to get more narrative. I think that made the individual images suffer looking back on images I took more than a year ago.
This was my favourite digital shot. It had a decent sense of scale and I took it on just one of my usual night walks when I was alone. It has a atmosphere to it that reflected my feeling. I also enjoy construction or deconstruction as content for my images. The image quality is not great but given I shot it with a 30 year old film zoom adapted on mirrorless it's not bad for what it is, imo.
