There's a reason everyone takes the shotgut approach to macro, yielding 1 good picture out of 300 shots
I'd rather get a tabletop-sized tripod for ground-level shoots and maybe a gimbal head if you need to follow fast subjects
That would make moving your camera slightly more convenient
