>>3189703I still haven't really broken into the video world much. I mess around with it occasionally but I've found that it quickly takes away from the photography side of things. It's been great for some photographers, but guys like Ben Horne end up carrying an 85 pound bag just for a day hike because half of it is video sliders and rigs. No matter how much of a beast you are doubling your weight will slow you down and leave you exhausted. That said, I do need to get back into some sort of travel log. Maybe down the road it will happen, and most likely just simple videos like the review I did on the Intrepid using a cell phone.
>>3189707Thanks anon. Gotta start somewhere with landscapes, have fun with it!
>>3189709I walked right by the scene on my way down the canyon without noticing it, but on my way back that one rock jumped out at me. I'd never seen anything like it before and figured it could turn out well. I'm curious to see how this Intrepid boom plays out in the film market. I would imagine that more large format cameras have flooded the market in the last year than the previous 10. I don't know if film manufacturers give a damn but it would be great if it helped them continue to produce emulsions.
>>3189713The slide looks pretty much exactly like that on a light table, very purple in the sky and warm on the landscape. It's a very special light at that time.
Here's another sheet of Velvia 50 from Colorado.
