pic related. Honestly it works really well because the stock strap is grippy - that's why I'm ruling out a wrist strap.

One bit is fixed, the other has a buckle. Buckle open, nothing is keeping the strap on your shoulder. It's like cutting a regular strap with scissors, it flies off.
