>>3943547my experience exactly with my v600, black and white is fine, most color is shit. not even salvageable with Lr/Ps and trying vuescan, havent tried silverfast but i imagine it'd be the same shit. the hardware just can't handle color film. maybe it just isn't able to keep all the emulsion layers in focus, maybe that flimsy plastic holder doesnt hold the film flat enough, or maybe epson flatbeds are just a pile of shit. either way, selling mine as soon as i decide what im gonna replace it with. pic is an example of lost detail, pretty fast exposure with no wind, but almost looks like i did a half second exposure with a breeze, i've noticed it struggles particularly hard with frames that have large areas of sky
