So I got handed the task of taking headshot portraits by my bosses,with a very old Canon Powershot A720 IS and a crappy tungsten ring light. The A720 eated batteries like crazy (a couple of full AA alkaline batteries lasted about 5-6 shots), so I began taking my personal camera to my job. I don't carry a backdrop, the place where I take photos has a big window and a white backdrop is fixed on a wall. I have a neewer "heavy duty" light stand and a Godox AD200 Pro strobe, but I don't use them for the photos at my job.
