So what is really your point OP?

You have a gigantic hole in RF-mount, but you are not making use of it.

Are Canon engineers just too dumb to use the big hole?
Or are they actually smart and know their craft, and actually already optimised their optics which coincidentally fits perfectly into E-mount?
