When I first got into photograpy I remember reading that you should just get whatever camera feels the most comfortable to use because any major camera company makes good enough cameras for hobbyists.
And that's still true. People obsess over image quality when they post their photos on social media at like 1000x resolution. People spend 10k on a Leica or Medium format camera only to take photos of their cats and backyard.
It's fucking disgusting. Photography is where gears matters the least. It's so sad for me to see most of the board being dedicated to pointless gear talk.
