You'll see a big difference in how the far background renders, and stuff like CA, but doesn't really show much of the transition zones. The 35 f2 is a tad sharper (more-so in the corners) and gives a very modern look with smooth bokeh and minimal aberrations. The 33 f1.4 is basically an f1.4 version of the f2, but I do think it can exhibit it's own "magic" in the right circumstances. I personally use 35 f2 the most nowadays, 33mm f1.4 for more serious stuff, other 35's for more character, and then the 35 f1.4 when I want character + autofocus.
>>4097399The 18 f2 hood works fine on the 35 f1.4 if you still want that hooded look while saving a tiny bit of size. The 27 f2.8 is by far my favorite of the "compact" options though.
