I wasn't even looking for a tripod, just had a quick look at it in the shop when I was picking up some film the other day.
Immediately realised this was the first tripod I'd touched that could deploy in seconds on uneven ground and shoot at any angle with, even with my MF cam.
The Gitzo offset ball it was set up with in the shop didn't have the same simple appeal that the legs did, so I B&H'd the basic p0 head and a Giotto arca-style quick release.
