>>3036313There were insane lighting conditions that day which made that possible. The sun was diffused through miles of lightly falling snow which made it a deep orange and softened the light. This allowed me to expose properly without any filters. The snow is closer to a middle tone than I would usually do but it still appears bright in a scene like that.
