After doing research for a bit (nothing extremely deep) I came to a crossroads between a canon SL3 and the nikon d5600. After spending some time searching I decided on the SL3 since I found someone selling it brand new for cheaper than I could find it anywhere else compared to the 5600. It'll be here this week, any day now. Super excited!
I don't necessarily want to spend a ton more, but I also don't want to be caught with my pants down and my cock n balls out. Is there anything I should pick up? I'm thinking I probably should get another battery, a bag or case to protect it during travel/out and about times. I've also seen more than one person recommending to pick up a 50mm lens because they are pretty cheap and look good (like 100usd?). Thanks!
