Using my nikon d7000 to shoot video footage that's under a minute.
Using premiere pro for video editing.
What format/codec should I use to save the video and when simply shaving off a few seconds?
When I save as a .mp4 or .mov, compression is horrible.
Artifacts everywhere.
When I use something like a .avi, the file sizes are huge!
Hundreds of MBs when the full .mov directly from the camera for a minute is only about 120 MBs and is crisp and clear.
What do?
I also have quicktime pro if there's a non lossy to trim the video using that.
-And I'm on a PC.
