Just bought a used Canon T5i off of Craigslist. In great condition, the guy took really good care of it.
Came with:
>Canon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens + lens cap
>DBK C550D battery grip with an extra 3rd party battery (2 total)
>2 lens hoods, one plastic, one rubber
>Single battery wall charger
>Some like 3 foot short cable remote shutter that I have no clue what the point is when the wire is that short
>Box and manuals but whatever
Missing:
>Original battery cover
>Plastic eye piece
>Body cap and lens back cap
Some questions. I got it for $280, was this a good deal? Personally, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, just want reaffirmation.
What are some essentials that I should get ASAP if going to primarily shoot video? Anything for photos?
I already have a basic ass Amazon Basics tripod, backdrop poles, green screen, 4 clamp lights with some filters that turn the light temp from daylight white to more incandescent, a cheap reflector kit, and a lav mic (had all those because I using my phone for video previously). But as far as what essentials, I'm more talking about stuff for the camera itself.
What are some things that should be on my wish list for the next 6-12 months? Including lenses. I'm on a tight budget, but just wanna plan things out a bit.
