I'm looking to find a solution to a problem other than just outright buying a whole new camera.
I want to tether my t4i to my laptop wirelessly for quick and easy storage and large preview after I take a single photo.
I know there are things like FlashAir from Toshiba, Eye-fi, and wifi SD cards, but from my research, they are super cheap and extremely unreliable. You could lose the photo completely, or the card just doesn't work.
There is also the case-air wireless tether for $160.
https://www.tethertools.com/product/case-air-wireless-tethering-system/But if I purchase a brand new $500-700 camera, like the t7i, canon 77D, or the canon 80D with wifi already installed, it would be nice to have over compensated for the ability and a semi step up from my t4i.
I really like my t4i, bought it for $600 when it came out. Then added cases and batteries and lenses for it.
Should I go with a upgraded brand new camera, or just pay for the case-air tether as a cheap solution without upgrading my gear?
