normal dehaze gave the tree tips some strange colouration so i split the image to hsb using filter - other - hsb / hsl
then i copied the green channel (saturation) to a new document, inverted it so it's easier to look at, used dehaze at about 50, and used shadows / highlights at ~18 on shadows and highlights with clipping set to 0 in cc 2015 (cs6 has different behaviour for clipping set to 0 in that absolute black and white will be pushed around instead of staying put like in cc 2015, didn't need to change imo), and inverted it back to normal
then i copied the blue channel (brightness) to a new document and used dehaze there as well, also like 50
then i put the two channels back in the image and back to rgb
