Debating between Sony FE 28/2 and Samyang 35/2.8. Will be used as a general walkaround lens, for anything really. Street, landscape (35 wide enough?), environmental portraits, indoors and so on. I'm intrigued by the small size of the Sammy, though the 28 is not that big or heavy it seems. Both seems to get good reviews when it comes to image quality. I'm leaning towards the 35 due to size, with the only thing holding me back is possible AF video noise and perhaps not being wide enough for landscapes. It's to complement my FE 85/1.8 and bigger MF vintage lenses. The 28 on the other hand might not be ideal for full body/scenic portraits?
From what I've heard the Samyang AF got a lot better with FW update, but I guess the motor noise varies from copy to copy?
