>>3555936Hmm, actually...I decided to do a little investigation on my own. I came across this site called "imaging resource" that seems to be really well respected for their unbiased reviews and very high expertise in comparing the capabilities of cameras. They did a review of the EM5 Mk II pixel shift capabilities, and whoa!
SOMEHOW they were able to make the pixel shift mode look sharp! I don't know if they just really boosted the sharpening up WAY WAY higher than DP Review did, but wow! That's a big difference! It even looks a lot better than flagship full frame cameras, even those from Sony!
https://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/olympus-e-m5-ii/olympus-e-m5-iiTECH2.HTMHmm, I wonder if maybe it's actually sharp or if Imaging Resource are being paid off by Olympus to cheat and make the EM5 Mk II pixel shift look WAY better than it actually is. Surely DP Review aren't the ones that are doing anything wrong, they seem a lot more trust worthy and I also trust you anon. You seem like you know so much about cameras and lenses!
I just can't make up my mind if I should trust your expert judgement or go with Imaging Resource? I may just stick with the A7ii because I really don't need as much quality as the EM5 mk II can produce in pixel shift mode anyway.
