Also, get out of the skatepark. Park shots are so boring unless you really embrace the context or utilize photography to make things interesting. They're too standard, which CAN work for street since streets can be interesting. In a park though...not so much.

Odds are your friends aren't good and doing crazy impressive stuff. You can make a standard trick look dope by using your photographic skill. The the photo beautiful and any trick can be elevated and look awesome.

Pic semi-related. This dude is good as fuck, but for this shot he was just messing around with some back tails. Tried my best to make a park shot interesting using the shape of a bowl and a slowed shutter speed.

Skate photographers generally try to avoid this ghosting actually. But it just happens sometimes and in those cases minimizing the ghosting is prioritized. Skate photos like this aren't done purposefully, rather they are done out of necessity and lack of preferable conditions. One way to avoid the ghosting even if you are using a long shutter is to place your subject against dark colors.
