I ordered a camera off of eBay from Japan, the seller had a good reputation and the light meter was advertised as functional. It is not. The camera is a Ricoh500GS, which is like a budget Canonet. It's got a 40mm 2.8 and shutter/aperature rings feel so so sweet and the focus throw is great. It just would suck to have to use an external lightmeter.
I've tried troubleshooting every way I know how and nothing is working. I want into film so bad bros.
Any tips to figure this out before I contact the seller? I threw out the bubblewrap and packaging like a dummy.
