These are the lenses on the eye of a wasp if I recall correctly. With that much tube, any vibration at all makes it shake terribly. I had to stand far far from it to keep it from picking up vibrations my body was causing.
>or was it dead?Dead for a month probably. I think that one was a "AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G" using a reverse ring and either bellows or extension tubes. I think it was one of the first focus stacks I did with the ring light. There's something like 10-11 photos in one focus stack for that image.
