I see both sides of the argument. On the one hand, I was nearly bored to death by my grandfather who used to show me macro shots of his garden whenever I saw him.
On the other hand, if someone does take a photo of a bug or something else with detail that I might not take the time to get down and look at, I might be interested.
I wish I had a macro lens when I saw this tiny spider a while ago. I spent ages trying to get a decent shot of it from about a metre away (all I had was my 135 f2).
I see countless shots on here of fields, trees, sunsets and other random shit I see on the way to work each day.
