>>3775999>Every time I use it it ends up looking like the pic was taken on a P&S digi from 2003, and I’m using an expensive modern mirror lessyour camera has fuck all to do with it. the reason it looks like a 20 year old point and shoot is because thats basically what you have, just a more powerful version. it looks like shit for two reasons, the flash is on axis with the lens so there wont be much in the way of shadows to provide contrast, so take it off your camera and move it several feet to the side. and it looks like shit because it is a small point light source causing hard shadows, so get a large softbox to shoot it through.
>>3776000it doesnt matter where you use it, the rules above still apply, the only thing doing it outside does is makes the entire endeavor more expensive because it almost has to be battery operated, and probably bright enough to over power the sun.
