I would expect a M43 image (the red), to have the same detail and quality s a FF image would, when viewed at the same size as this diagram indicates (roughly, when viewed at 25% of a FF image).
What's often left out when discussing this stuff is that it's expected that the M43 image will be blown up to the equivalent FF size. At that point, it's obvious there should be a difference in light intensity per mm^2 or general IQ. But, imo, that's a bit of an unfair comparison, since one image is being blown up 4x it's original size.
