>>4411724 here but made the huge mistake of disassembling it. I think I kept the fungus element in peroxide too long cause it developed a haze I can't remove and I can't reassemble the lens. Fortunately I only lost $20 between it and a 50mm AF Prime I also can't properly reassemble (won't focus to infinity...lesson learned don't open them up)
This is all complementing my recent Sony Alpha a390 purchase (14.2mp CCD, horrible AF even vs my Pentax KF, needs more buttons, $90 w/360 shutter counts and 18-55 Sony Kit Lens). I can't wait to get it and shoot. I might try to find something to shoot this weekend with the 2 lenses I currently have (18-55 + 100-200mm)
