But anon, listen - if you don't care for video you can even grab a used a6000 for a lot less money. Why? Because all a6XXX cameras use the same 24mp sensor.
I used to own an a6000 a couple years ago before I switched to an a7 and coupled with some nice old glass it was an amazing camera that's capable of giving you some really nice photographs.
