>>3935909>>3935918>>3936009buying used is more of a personal gripe, I'll give you an example: this year i bought a new laptop for uni, very good, 10 days later i spilled a huge cup of beer on it. thanfully my parents insisted on buying insurance, which saved my ass. the laptop still works fine, only kinda smells bad if you sniff the keyboard. if i sold it online, the guy who bought it wouldn't even phantom something like that happened.
so yeah thats's my reason.
also even if I wanted to buy used, poortugals a small country there aren't even that many cameras for sale. No KEH or similar too.
>>3935909>>3936014what i enjoyed about the 1000d is the compactness. a friend of mine had an 80d and then got an m50, and I understand why. I don't even use a camera bag, just chuck things into my backpack. mirrorless is the way to go for me, I don't even care about af, just size.
>>3936009Shooting kit just used the whole lens. Looking back most of my shooting is done when I'm out with friends exploring abandoned stuff so I always used the wide part of the lens. when I needed to shoot something further, I never felt the kit lens was hindering me. Also the fastness of the 50 1.8 was cool for low light.
the 1000d has abosuletly amazing battery life, is pretty small, but only has usable iso up to like 800 which is awful.
the 18-55 looks very nice, it's starting to get out of my price range but I think it's worth it. if im spending that much might as well go all in
