While compositionally, that shot is off (should have stooped to bring the vertical axis perpendicular to the camera horizontal), the graffiti behind mirroring the homeless guy either makes this a well observed snap, hence "timing" since most wouldn't even see the relation, or more what I suspect as a staged shot, since I've shot a lot of homeless people and his belongings are way too clean.
Either way, good idea that needed better composition.
