Found these two things in the shed while cleaning out grandma's house. Never owned a film camera, gonna clean them up and play around with them. The seals are absolutely fucked and disintegrated, I ordered some adhesive felt and I'll fix that up as well as disassemble them and clean them later this week. The Minolta's vf looks alright but the Yashica's is kinda gross and fogged up.
I tried doing a diy battery (taped four hearing aid batteries together) for the Yashica and I don't know if I'm just retarded and did something wrong or if something's up with the camera because the battery check isn't working. Hopefully a more thorough cleaning in the battery compartment will help, it's a bit dirty in there too.
