Avatarfagging is when a SINGLE person adopts a persona, typically an anime girl, and uses it in ALL of their posts. It's usually the same pic, even.
You would have a hard time accusing someone who uses pepe of avatarfagging, as he's become emblematic of 4chan in general and is used by tens of thousands of people to express their feelings. There's a goddamned documentary about it. Your gripe is with 4chan culture in general, in which case I suggest you might as well head off to greener pastures.
