2. If you're talking about rothko's color field work, then his colors were carefully chosen and matched together based off that pictures source of inspiration, he didn't throw the same lurid shade of pink at every picture, to compare your 2 "styles" is pretty offensive to rothko.
3. Just admit, it doesn't matter what criticism is offered, or who offers it, you're never going to listen. Consider this for a moment, you've been "trying" to be a photographer for 15 years, and it still hasn't happened, do you not think it's time you went back to school and started listening to people.
Imagine if you met someone who was mad keen on playing the guitar, and they had been doing it consistently for 15 years and telling everyone about how great they are. But in reality, they just keep playing smells like teen spirit and when suggested it's time they move forward, they hiss and scowl and say "nirvana were a very succesful band so I can surely get success from playing the same songs".
This would all be funny, if it weren't so sad.
