>>3674285>>3674347VSCO preset and then use transparent layers to fix the color.
Set one layer to color, use the brush at 20/20 (Opacity/Flow), choose the skin color from somewhere like the face, and then paint over the region where you want to color correct until it looks good then set the opacity to something like 85% to make it blend better.
The second layer should be soft light. use the brush at 20/20 again, you can keep the same color as before, and slightly paint until it looks good.
Pic related:
#1 - Create layers and set the layer mode, choose the brush, color pick a color from her face.
#2 - I did about 4-5 "coats" on her hips until it looked good.
#3 - Painted over her bodysuit as well, since it's black, you have to be careful about it looking natural, so only like 2 coats, and then set the layer to 84%
#4 - Created another layer and set it to soft light. You probably won't see the changes as you're painting over, so turn layer on/off to see changes, it's quite nice. Then set layer to 92%.
Doing that, you're not smoothing anything over, all the details are there, just the color changes to make it more unified. Also remember to clean up any color changes you made to things that don't need it, like the border of her bodysuit where it's too thick for skin color to appear through. Just run the eraser over and leave that black.
I'm sure there's a better, more industry professional type of technique but this is super easy and quick to do.
