>>4321494OP, ignore the retarded nophotos. Ditch the EF-S kit lens, it’s a plastic piece of shit. The 24-70 is a good lens for portraits and stuff but you need a good prime for wide-angles and a telephoto. For wide-angles the EF 17-40 L lens is a great one and it will cover all of your focal lengths under 50. You can also get an EF 50 prime, the f1.8 is pretty good. For telephotos your only “cheap” option that isn’t gonna suck ass is the magic drainpipe, which is picrel, the old 80-200 f2.8. They quit making them in the 90s but they’re really good and can be found all over the place. Good luck.
