>What number 3It's either that or look at the focus assist grid and ballpark your composure from there. Since you're not usually using speedlites for this sort of work, you're better off using live view.

I have my shutter separated from AF so I don't have to turn AF off to do this, I can just focus manually and snap. (of course, with full time manual focus lenses.)
