Hey bro's, I'm not overly joyous of the picture, I like it because it is something my friend and I composed while we were trying to get this process down, which by the way is a work in progress hence the idea of that "art" thing. Now, before you rip that apart too, I would like to thank you for your opinions, they mean a lot. But I would rather shoot my camera the way I will it, and process the shit out of anything in my grasp. without having a chance to mess about in a dark room, a lot of the tools for photoshop would be of no use to me and I'd have no idea what they were for (inb4(moar)trolls), so maybe it should be a step process, or I dunno. But it shouldn't be so much a dismissal of the old form, but an adaptation of it. Digital has a lot of perks, but there were times when walking out of that dark room, stinking of chemicals and shrieking in pain to the brightness of any sort of light source, it made the experience that much more of an involved and actual art form, you're basically working with silver and lots of chemistry.
Now your composition and use of the space your film and or light sensor reads out, is totally and independently up to you. Using just a certain kind of medium is not going to make you a great artist, but it is what you do with it. çest-la-vie
