>>3950289I would never add a side zip to a bag (personally). If you have to take it off to access your camera anyway then just store the camera in the top. Adding new zippers increases weight and introduces potential failure points. For me it's capture clip if I need to access it, or in the bag if I don't need it. On technical routes you're not going to be slinging your backpack to the side to grab a camera anyway, so you need to make the decision to shoot the climb before you even get on rope.
