As long as it's got good auto exposure, a nice viewfinder and is relatively small it'll be perfect for the job, you defiantly do NOT need all the bells and whistles premium point and shoots offer.
Contax Point and Shoots are notorious for being severely overpriced, dying easily and not being repairable. I owned a TVS ii which died on me after 4 rolls. I felt like I had too much control over my images that I may as well just use my rangefinder. Oh btw the viewfinders on Contax cameras suck, have fun having to constantly clean the finger prints off of it.
