>>3254884If you consider zooms, it looks much better. I'm pretty sure there are zooms among these that can compete with primes in quality of produced image. Keep them at the best focal, and treat zoom as a bonus.
The converter is also WR, giving you ability to combine it with WR lenses.
>>3254885I started with Pentax recently and have an APS-C body. I don't know if I would want to invest into FF unless they release more lenses and show that they are serious at continuing it.
I definitely like WR in all modern cameras, in-body stabilization is nice. Sticking to kit lens for now, so I can't say much about the selection of lenses, but it feels pretty complete, even if there's not much choice nor competition. The only thing that I'm a little disappointed about, is small number of fast lenses (and their prices).
Still, it's a hobby for me that I'm still trying out, so I don't know if I will be affected much by the negatives.
>>3254889Chill. We had CP+ and WPPI recently, where Pentax announced some new stuff. And /gear/ is just for that, discussion about gear.
It's a brand like any other, no need to be so defensive about that. It can share a thread with Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Sony, Leica, and all the other brands.
Regarding the image in OP, it's kind of a meme. A change doesn't bother me that much.
