Closeup and little background??
You need a very very fast lens.
Something like F/2 or in my case an adapted 50mm F/1.7 Minolta AF.
I can pretty much blur the entire background and even get the nice bokeh circles depending on lighting.
If you want a large background like pic related you need a wider lens. For that your best bet is FF.
If you want something like the cat, you would be fine with M43.
A fast lens can be used with 200 iso even in the house and still get good light.
