Japanese make ugly lenses. Full stop. That includes sonyzeiss and panaleicas. It's like their car design, they simply can't stop adding elements to them. They're full of writing, different fonts, and bumps everywhere. That way even lecas that share bodies with panasonic lenses end up looking better.
